Profile: Gerard Saide

Gerard is currently working as a supply/relief teacher in Toowoomba. He graduated from the University of Qld with majors in English Language and Literature, Sociology and Geography.

His interest in photography began in the early 80s after a passing comment from a fellow teacher in Mackay.

In the years since, Gerard has been involved in photography at local, State and national levels. He is currently President of the Photographic Society of Qld. He sees photography as a language and a powerful agent of change.
